LaserCare
therapy is the use of monochromatic light emission to treat
musculo-skeletal injuries and chronic conditions. A light
source placed in contact with the skin sends photon
energy into the cells. Inside the cell, the light energy interacts
with various biomolecules to restore normal cell function
and enhance the body’s healing processes.
When light penetrates the tissue, it stimulates the mitochondria,
or the “powerhouses” of the cell, to convert
the light energy into chemical energy. The body uses chemical
energy as fuel. As tissue heals, the cell membranes become
more permeable, allowing more nutrients to pass through,
which further energizes the cell.
